The National Opioid Settlement Conference (NOSC) provides a harassment-free and inclusive experience for everyone, regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or drug-using status, including individuals who are abstinent, in recovery, using medications for addiction treatment, or actively using drugs. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.

• No Harassment: Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments, intimidation, stalking, unwelcome sexual attention, or taking photographs or recordings without permission. If you are asked to stop any harassing behavior, you must comply immediately.

• Professionalism with Humanity: Balance professionalism with authenticity—bringing respect, empathy, and openness into all interactions.

• Respectful Communication: Share ideas with tact, ground comments in fact or personal experience, and ensure all voices have time and space to contribute.

• Community Accountability: Foster a safe and brave space, assume goodwill, extend grace, and hold ourselves and each other accountable for upholding these standards.

• Photography and Recording: Please be considerate when taking photos or recording. Do not photograph or record anyone without their explicit consent.

• Reporting an Incident: If you experience or witness a violation of this code of conduct, please report it immediately to a conference organizer. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
