NOSC 2027 Scholarships
What the scholarship covers
Full conference registration at the Non-Profit/Government rate. Travel and lodging are not included but applicants may indicate travel need so TSG can consider it if additional funds are available.
Eligibility criteria
Mission-aligned (people doing the work), equity-centered (prioritizing those with least access), and defensible (objective, non-discriminatory, easily explained publicly).
-
1 - You work for, volunteer with, or are directly engaged with an organization, government body, or community effort focused on opioid response, settlement fund stewardship, or related public health work.
2 - You face a financial barrier that would prevent attendance without support. The scholarship is not intended for individuals whose employer or organization has a budget to cover conference registration.
3 - You commit to attending all three days (June 15-17, 2027) if awarded.
-
You represent a small or under-resourced organization (annual budget under $500,000), a small local or county government, or a tribal nation.
You have lived or living experience with the opioid crisis: someone in recovery, a survivor of overdose loss, a caregiver, a formerly incarcerated person, or a person with chronic pain.
You work in or on behalf of a rural, frontier, or tribal community.
You are an early-career professional (fewer than five years in the field) or a current graduate or undergraduate student.
Your organization primarily serves Black, Indigenous, or other communities of color; LGBTQ+ communities; or other populations that have been historically excluded from policy conversations about opioid response.
-
Commercial vendors or for-profit entities whose primary business is selling products or services to the opioid response sector
Individuals whose employer has indicated willingness to cover registration costs
